Sunday. Day 2.

The day was all about “fear, uncertainty, and doubt.”

People are missing, presumed dead or kidnapped, with no word for 2 days. Over 600 Israelis were murdered. Never have residents been attacked in this manner! It’s the darkest times of modern Israeli history.

Normal life is on hold. Schools remain closed. It’s hard to focus on work, sleep soundly, or tend to daily necessities. There’s uncertainty about where to go, what to do, or how to be helpful. Even worse, we know the situation is escalating.

Calls, emails, texts, and shows of support from others matter…especially from our non-Jewish friends. It’s gratifying to know the world is watching and understanding what Israel is dealing with.

But, it’s also frightening to know that, while those terrorists are murdering kids, women and elderly, there are those haters who are cheering for them. Can you believe it? Hamas = ISIS. How many sickos are there in the world???

Make no mistake. Good will triumph evil. This crisis is uniting Jews and Israelis around the world. We will prevail, we will win. Hamas will regret those #warcrimes and get what they deserve.

Stand with Israel. Stand with justice. Stand with peace.
